Nekku 82 cm -- Minttu 72 cm
Both has full dentition and excellent scissor bite.

Nekku's heart has been examined and is healthy. Also his liver, kidney and blood sugar levels are all normal. Thyroid test will be done later this year.
Minttu has had her thyroid examination (summer 2009) and it is healthy. More health tests will be done later this year.
This site will be updated with the latest test results. If there are no obstacles to this plan, the mating should take place mid-December.

Nekku is a calm leader, always just and very patient. He loves attention and cuddles but enjoys being by himself as well and often sleeps away from the other dogs. Nekku's quality time are trips to dog shows, especially abroad when he gets his own bed in a hotel and all the attention all day long. He loves dog shows.
Nekku was never interested in the lure until at the age of 2 years when he had a few excellent performances in coursing competitions, as well as doing his solo run and first group run on the track. But then he got bored of chasing a dead rag and never did it again. However, in the forest he looks for game and chases it if possible. He is a sturdy, big dog, yet agile when running. He weighs about 48kg.

Minttu, small foxy girl, was never interested in the lure, or real game either, which is a pity because she is fast and super agile. She loves people and is very obedient and humble, but she can be stubborn if she really wants to. She loves her own pack and other dogs she knows but ignores strangers. She is very easy in the home as well as abroad. She has travelled around because she is no bother at all.
She has always been a bit on the chubby side and thus she hasn't appeared in dog shows that often, even if she does love them. Obviously her chubbiness is the owners' fault :) Minttu loves the outdoors and forests but after a few sprints she likes to follow her owner. She is a bit lazy to run unless there is a reason to do it! She weighs about 36kg.

Unfortunately neither of these fast, agile, well co-ordinated dogs has really been able to display their best at coursing/track competitions (excluding the few competitions Nekku took place in).

We expect the future litter to have a balanced, healthy composition, a very good, sociable and open characdter, and a perfect length good quality coat. We are also hoping for the red colour to pass on to this litter along with excellent, dark pigment.
